Schmidt Baking Company Expands Scan-Based Trading Partnership with iControl

BURTONSVILLE, MD, September 2, 2016 – iControl Data Solutions (iControl), a leading process improvement and business insights provider to Retailers, Suppliers and Brokers, announced today Schmidt Baking Company will expand the deployment of iControl's Scan-Based Trading Solution.

Schmidt Baking Company is based in Baltimore, MD and makes Schmidt's Blue Ribbon and Schmidt's Old Tyme Breads. Also, as a licensee of the Quality Bakers of America Cooperative, Schmidt bakes and distributes Sunbeam Bread. In 2012, Schmidt acquired the rights to Holsum and Milano in Harrisburg and Scranton from another iControl client, Bimbo Bakeries USA.
